Stuff: Shiny Red and Fresh Green

This lil beauty was parked infront of Terry's house. Begging to be shot. Like a kid with a lolly.

This is the back road I use 8 million times a day. It never ceases to take my breath away... flying down a steep, shaded hill, then confronted by a wall of bright, sparkling green. I say sparkling green, because it reminds me of these Donovan lyrics: "Green is the color of the sparkling corn, in the morning, when we rise. That's the time I love the best." It was in a Kohl's commercial during the late summer of 2002. Color songs from commercials just stick with me. For years. Like the Nick Drake song, "Pink." From the Volkswagon Cabrio commercial.

My street: A crossroads where an abandoned gas station meets a well-manicured house.

We have a fire engine mechanic shop in our town. When we have guests in from other towns, I like to make them feel welcome. (this one is pronounced Minnie-Olah)

GREEN jalepeno pepper from our garden.
I needed a pretty veggie for a promotional piece I was working on for E&T Plastics...

There is nothing like a sun-warmed, ripe pepper.

I shot it really fast, on the floor in my basement. (vinyl flooring is GREAT for photoshoots.)

Then I convinced the hubby to make some guacamole for dinner :-)

I love your study of red & green! (LOL at Minnie-Olah ;-)

And, unfortunately for my butt and gut, I can't get enough guac! Your photo made my stomach rumble.
