Art School Sketchbook: Some Prose

This one was written in layers, over the course of a semester.
You can read the range of my emotions, in rings.... like the cross-section of a tree.

After you finish this "series" with looking back over your journals, you'll have to tell us what you learned or what stood out at you the most. Hope Mina's doing better. xx

I would so frame this. Looks like a great way to "log"
a journal entry. Reminds me of those adds with fonts that take the shape of furniture.
You were clever then, and still never cease to amaze me.
Mina? Does she need a care package?

I agree with Patricia- I would definitely frame this one. You are one talented gal!

How is Mina?

Ed. Note:... this was SO not a school project. In fact I probably wrote the whole thing while I was supposed to be taking notes in several different classes. -xoh

This really is quite amazing. Reminds of the artist Elena del Rivero, who writes a stream of her thoughts along the edges of many of her paintings.

oh, I TOTALLY used to write like this..."tree ring format," if you will...during class. I wish I had saved my random musings! Though I did recently dig up a poem from *high school* that is way better than anything I could write today (too jaded and bitter now. :-)
