Very cool! Nice trip down memory lane with your journals. I wish I had done something like that in my youth.
From afar, the sketch looks like some kind of ghost doing a head stand on a block of ice.

From here that drawing looks like fire and brimstone - just beautiful! The edges are so crisp.
I remember that you would write your papers on a looong scroll of parchment or tracing paper. (And I remember typing a paper for that very class!)
