Emerging Artist #3
I didn't think much of these when I first saw them... typical 3.5 yr old scribble & scrawl. But then I happened upon a group of them & saw something emerge. He starts them all the same way, with a strong, deliberate line, and then adds a curved shape on either side. It's as though a zygote is transforming into an embryo. Or my sneaky son saw the Movie "Superbad" after I went to bed. Time will tell.

HAHAHA! Does he keep them in a lunchbox?
they are ALL over the house! Sadly, I just started noticing.
This post makes me want to line all of B's work up on the dining room table...that's a good thing!
I love that. A friend who has taught art to kids told me that a way to make great art with kids is to limit their palette -- makes things look cohesive. This defintely has that quality.
