In my dream, I was walking down my street. Up ahead, I saw something... a discarded treasure, sitting forlorn on the curb. I quickened my pace. My heart was beating faster and faster. Infront of this apparition, I halted. It was an authentic mid-century teak chair. It only needed a little TLC... maybe some new upholstery. I looked to see if anyone was watching. All clear. I picked it up and ran the rest of the way home. Then I woke-up.
(ok, maybe it's wasn't exactly a dream. Maybe the chair is real. And maybe it's MINE now. And maybe I knocked on my neighbor's door to see if she MEANT to throw out such a lovely chair. It's quite possible that she DID. )
What dreamy items have YOU found in the garbage?
