Does anyone know how to care for growing ginger? Can ginger survive, here in a climate of such bizarre extremes? Should I let it stay in, or bring it out? Plant it, or leave it?

I've never heard of anyone growing it here, but I don't know that many people with green thumbs. Hope yours survives!!

I do heart Tori, too, and I think the cover of Crucify was her with a necklace of some sort of root...spring onions? mini potatoes? ginger? Not sure. And I'm also not sure how to grow ginger but I think you have to plant that to see what happens!

I know nothing about ginger... but that sashimi/sushi looks GREAT! YUM!
I love ginger too. Not sure if you can grow it in the Northeast but you can always buy it and put it in the freezer - taking it out and cutting a piece off when you use it. Been doing that for years. Would love your recipe if you have the time!
