Take My Book, Please!
This book was so rich and juicy with imagery, scents & flavors, that it kept me wanting more until I was in sensory overload.
I thoroughly enjoyed every single word. SOMEone out there in bloggyland recommended it to me, so to keep the good book karma rolling, I decided to send it to one of YOU. All you have to do, is leave me a comment, suggesting a book for my next summer reading experience, to be eligible to win.
Contest ends friday at 5pm est.
Good Luck!

What fun :) I've never heard of this book- need to look it up...
I always recommend Magical Thinking or Possible Side Effects - both by Augusten Burroughs. Both are short stories of his life, and full of laughter :) Can't wait to see what others suggest!
Oh Gosh! um...let's see fiction is hard-
"three cups of tea" or "reading lolita in tehran"- but i always love to read the Great Gatsby in the summer (short)- I might be moving into the drummer boys house! O-" life of bees" Time travelers wife"
okay i will stop( i love russian literature).
thanks so much for your support of my new blog! xo
eek! pick me! :)
Umm... I recommend Anne Lamott--- bird by bird. It's a lovely read. :)
ooo--i love bird by bird, I just finished reading the Death of Vishnu by Manil Suri and I LOVED it...really beautiful...The Meadow by James Galvin is also a beautiful book--unforgettable as is Housekeeping by Marilyn Robinson.
I love everything Anne Lamott writes!! Operating Instructions is a must-read if you are thinking of having a baby.
Thanks to all for the suggestions thus far!
oh what fun, a blog-book-club. finished in 2 days
"A Thousand Splendid Sons" and think every woman should read it. I just started "Marie Antoinette"-The Journey.
I'm not sure... but maybe putting it in an envelope with a certain piece of software and sending it back to California might be a good idea. :) -G-Ro
