Take My Book, Please!

This book was so rich and juicy with imagery, scents & flavors, that it kept me wanting more until I was in sensory overload.
I thoroughly enjoyed every single word. SOMEone out there in bloggyland recommended it to me, so to keep the good book karma rolling, I decided to send it to one of YOU. All you have to do, is leave me a comment, suggesting a book for my next summer reading experience, to be eligible to win.
Contest ends friday at 5pm est.
Good Luck!

What fun :) I've never heard of this book- need to look it up...
I always recommend Magical Thinking or Possible Side Effects - both by Augusten Burroughs. Both are short stories of his life, and full of laughter :) Can't wait to see what others suggest!

ooo--i love bird by bird, I just finished reading the Death of Vishnu by Manil Suri and I LOVED it...really beautiful...The Meadow by James Galvin is also a beautiful book--unforgettable as is Housekeeping by Marilyn Robinson.

I love everything Anne Lamott writes!! Operating Instructions is a must-read if you are thinking of having a baby.

Thanks to all for the suggestions thus far!

"A Thousand Splendid Sons" and think every woman should read it. I just started "Marie Antoinette"-The Journey.

I'm not sure... but maybe putting it in an envelope with a certain piece of software and sending it back to California might be a good idea. :) -G-Ro
