Laura: We have the garbage pails baracaded to keep the racoons from knocking them down. Possum, now known as "W" must have climbed the baracade & settled down for the long sleep.
Funny that the varmints are all drawn to my house ;-)

What's a possum? No, actually, I am such an (amateur at best) garbologist - someone who realizes the deep intrinsic secrets that one might uncover upon routing through ONE bag of garbage - that I didn't even see the critter for the first few seconds.
All together now....ewwww.
I'm a bit squeamish of vermin in my utter urbanity...
