Night Out

Last night, Hubby and I went to a benefit at Socrates Sculpture Park.

Watching the sunset over my city saved me from cursing out cabbies,
whilst stuck in a traffic jam at the Greenpoint Ave. exit.

Growing up here, I never really stopped to think about the miles of
cemetery that line the entrance to Manhattan.
Now, I think about it. Especially with the Financial District looming overhead.

By the time I picked-up the hubby and we arrived at the benefit,
it was too dark to shoot the exhibit.

But we mingled, snacked and drank some drinks.

View of midtown Manhattan from long Island City.

I always love your trailing lights. Looks like a beautiful evening, except the traffic, that would have done me in.
