Barefoot.
He walks into his house, and comes out with papers.
He gets back into the taxi, and the taxi takes off.

Follow that cab! We need to solve the mystery.
His mom needs to tell him about all the yucky germs...
He's obviously a spy.
There is a great story lurking among this photo! I can just imagine the possibilities...
(My favorite is that he was in the middle of his casual beach-front wedding and forgot his wedding vows at home on his desk, hence the immediacy of the situation and lack of proper footwear.)
