Another Skeleton Found...

I found another one of these yesterday...

like I need another ridiculous thing to collect?

Anyway... I shot it in the sweet light of the kitchen,
on the back of the toaster oven tray.
Does anyone know what these are?

I don't know what they are, but I have seen them here too! Let us know if you find out. Think holiday decorating among the garland...

i love it when it is the simple things that provide inspiration and awe especially when that "thing" is a mystery!~ (my best guess: some sort of dried pod?)

The shell of a fried wonton left over from the Gold Rush?

HOW many more would you like for your collection?

My guess was squirrel yarmulkes, but I think I was swayed by your more recent post.

Svelte is right...Japanese Lanterns. They are like a deep burnt orange in the late summer/early fall. Love them.
